How LiPHY works?

LiPHY is based on a new technology called visible light communication (VLC). VLC utilizes visible light emanating from light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to transmit information signals wirelessly through the air.

These signals can be captured using a smartphone and tablets running the LiPHY application by just pointing the phone towards the light source.
